Central Texas Gardener was approaching its 30th season and hadn't had a visual identity update in well over a decade. Our challenge was to update the show logo and build out the program's first design system, including motion for broadcast and a flexible but recognizable visual identity for use across social, email, and web.

In under 6 weeks, we achieved a new logo, suite of illustrations, and show open. I created a full suite of responsive motion graphic templates for lower thirds, name keys, and other broadcast motion needs. For the 30th season, I also created a commemorative logo for broadcast promotion.

Following the departure of original Producer Linda Lehmusvirta, Austin PBS also created a new social channel for Central Texas Gardener with all content created by me and our Marketing Content Creator. Within the first few months, CTG social channels had the highest impressions and engagement of any Austin PBS channel outside Austin City Limits.
